Environmental Management System
Industry Codes: Committed to excellence in environmental practice, Fix It All complies with the Environment Protection Authority’s industry codes that manage littering, air quality and water quality, including the prevention of storm water pollution.
 
Natural Environment: At no time is work allowed to impact on others’ enjoyment of the natural environment. This includes minimising noise pollution, preventing excessive dust, absolutely no littering, responsible use of water and containment of all run off.
 
Mains Water: Use of mains water on site is strictly in accordance with SA Water regulations. Any use of water for cleaning or dust suppression, is always with the appropriate trigger nozzle and in accordance with the permit issued for such purpose.
 
Recycling: The following refuse is always removed from site and fully recycled: green garden waste, organic gutter litter, paper or cardboard, recyclable plastic, glass and metal containers, scrap metal, timber off-cuts, bricks and brick pieces.
 
Refuse Removed: The following refuse is always removed from site and disposed of responsibly: non-organic gutter litter, non-recyclable plastic, dangerous pieces of glass and metal, treated timber, concrete and contaminated soil.
 
 
Waste Water: All paint-contaminated wastewater is carefully capture on site into a 20-litre container and returned to base, where the paint contaminant is settled out and delivered to an approved waste disposal station.
 
 
Solvents: All paint-contaminated solvents are carefully sealed into recycled solvent safe containers and returned to base, where they are delivered to an approved waste disposal station.
 
 
Site Maintenance: The work site is always left in a clean and tidy state, including thoroughly vacuuming all areas where dust has been generated.  

 

 

Qualified people

Our principal tradesman, Brett Tomlinson, is an indentured Fitter and Turner, with over 25 years practical experience in a range of industrial, commercial and residential businesses. Our office manager, Vicki Tomlinson, is degree qualified in business, and has over 20 years practical experience in both private and public sector administration. Our tradespeople are not only generalists in home and office repairs and maintenance, but also have their own specialty trades.

Our workshop

We specialise in modifying existing products or custom designing and fabricating such things as doors, gates, access ramps and handrails. Centrally located at Blair Athol, our workshop is well equipped to provide you with an efficient and professional final product that will fit perfectly and match your home or office décor. All Fix It All products comply with the relevant Australian Standard and are built to take extra weight, wear and tear.

Health and safety

Fix It All prides itself in operating to best practice standards as befits an organisation specialising in meeting the needs of frail, aged and disabled people. Site management and safety for workers, customers and the public is highest priority while work is underway.

Quality systems

All Fix It All employees and contractors are mature trade-qualified operators with Police Clearance Certificates. All workers wear the corporate branded uniform and all vehicles carry corporate branding for easy identification. All work is quality guaranteed and this is fundamental to the Fix It All brand.
